OOOOh How I love making these Cuffs!  I think it's because I love working with fabric (yes I'm a fabric junkie!)

I had the perfect pair of earrings to donate.  These angel wing earrings are the perfect piece, they signify much needed hope and love at a time of crisis.  I hope they can raise a good amount for a worthy cause!

Upcycled leaf earrings.

Look at these cuties! Made from an upcycled leaf chain. I added the blue glass beads for a splash of color. Pretty eye catching. I initially wanted to use feathers, but these leaves are a lot more studier and hang so beautifully.

Good times

June has been a really great month! I've had 3 great shows and I've been busy making lots of new and exciting pieces. I think the most rewarding thing is hearing great things about your work! It's very motivating and keeps me working harder. There are always things that I learn every time I do a show... like, don't leave things to the last minute :) Can't wait to do more shows, I love this! Thanks to everyone who was involved in the shows and those of you who came along!

Lion hearted girl

I just added this to my Etsy store. I am so happy with this creation and I always receive a compliment on it! I found this button and that's how the idea started. I love incorporating animals into my jewelry, especially if they represent something. I guess this one represents courage, strength and confidence <3 I usually have a lot of pieces with birds in them and that's the first thing I look for :) Let's see what other animals I can find..

Bows and shows

Wow what a busy month, June has been really a great month with lots of stuff going on. I had 3 shows that went really well and I have been in production mode. I have been doing a lot of sewing and these bow pins are really popular right now! I love going fabric shopping. More bow pins will be coming to my Etsy store soon <3

Material girl

Recently, I've been buying fabric like crazy! I always liked the idea of incorporating fabric into my Jewelry. There are so many wonderful fabrics out there to choose from that you can end up going a little overboard :) But a girl can never have too much fabric.. right? I usually but about a quarter of a yard to see if it's going to work before i buy more. As one of my wonderful twitter friends pointed out to me (who happens to be fabric queen) it's better to buy the fabric in bolts if you absolutely love it. This is because they often discontinue a lot of prints, so keep an eye on that beauty you like!

My favorite place to find fabric include thrift stores, the market and fabric outlets. Online stores will sometimes offer you exclusive prints but there's nothing like being able to feel the product you are buying, so keep that in mind.

Summer is the perfect time to accessorize with colorful fabrics, so I'm going to get creating...
